CONSTRUCT MCC/MuSU POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION CENTER
This project will construct an approximately 68,000 facility on the main campus of Madisonville Community College. A project was authorized in the 2006 budget for $300,000 for design of this building and has been through preliminary design. The Center will provide classroom and office space for use by Murray State University and Madisonville Community College. The Center will allow the citizens of Madisonville and surrounding areas the opportunity to pursue a bachelors or graduate degree in an increased number of programs without leaving the area and enable students to pursue the initial two years of college through the Madisonville Community College and then transfer to Murray State University to complete their college education all on the same campus.
